We have been made aware that a self filmed uploaded video content depicting the suicide of an unknown 12 year old girl is available on the internet. This is extremely shocking and unsuitable for anyone, let alone children and teenagers.
Our ISP is blocking the site across the East Midlands schools but we have now been advised to alert parents as clearly this remains available to all via home or phone networks.
Please ensure you make all attempts to block the site and monitor your child's internet usage closely. You should ensure that you use "parental controls" to block by content as well as by inappropriate wording.
This and many similar sites often have innocuous names which do not reveal the nature of the content so please be vigilant.
