We use three main exam boards. On each of their websites, there are dedicated student areas which have links to useful information:

Revision

To support students with their revision, together with advice and guidance at the academy from teachers and tutors, there are many useful websites that provide hints, tips and techniques to get the most from your revising.

  • BBC Bitesize – the new Bitesize site brings together in one place all the BBC’s formal education content – not just the familiar Bitesize learner guides covering all the main secondary subjects, but also new primary guides and thousands of curriculum-mapped video clips for both secondary and primary classrooms.
  • GCSEPod – expertly written, knowledge rich content for 27 GCSE/ IGCSE subjects, GCSEPod make it easy to blend learning and revise from wherever you are – this is particularly suited to remote learning. The ability to build knowledge in sequence through their unique pods enables retention and recall when it is most needed by students.
  • Answer Perfect
    An additional revision resource for Year 11 students specific to the Cambridge National in Sport Science course, helping to prepare the students for the external exam of R041 Reducing the risk of injuries. This is free for all Year 11 students who are provided with their own username and password to gain access to all the revision resources including video’s, quick quizzes, practice exam questions and immediate feedback on their test scores.
