The Hub purpose
The purpose of The Hub is to provide additional and differentiated support to students with specific needs; ranging from autism to emotional health and well-being worries.

Entry and Provision Criteria
Staff in the hub will:
- Plan and implement an Autism Support Programme.
- Provide an appropriate scheme of learning for each student to complete during their time in The Hub.
- Make contact with parents/carers.
- Encourage students to be independent people.
- Liaise with staff regarding students.
Parents/Carers are encouraged to:
- Accept the support offered, showing enthusiasm, praise and encouragement to students.
- To attend the Parent Autism Voice Group (PAVG) once every half term with enthusiasm.
Students will:
- Have access to regular support which is tailored to their individual need (1:1 sessions, small group work or in class support) and a sensory room.
- Make a positive effort to engage in the support given.
- Improve learning by working towards and achieving personal targets.
Teaching Staff will:
- Know when students are scheduled to be The Hub and provide the appropriate learning resources for students following curriculum interventions as a timetable will be sent out.
- Not be able to refer students to The Hub who have behavioural issues.
- Not be able to refer students to The Hub directly.
